How do I clear my Website Cache in Wordpress?

Occasionally you may need to clear your website cache if your website is playing up or not loading correctly.

Caching is the process of storing copies of your website's files in a cache, or temporary storage location, so that they can be accessed more quickly to decrease load times.

On VMA Web Hosting Server, this can be done 2 ways:

  1. Via your cPanel
    1. Login to your cPanel or hosting account control panel: https://yourdomain.com.au/cpanel (or https://yourdomain.com.au:2083)
    2. Search for LITESPEED and select
    3. Find FLUSH LS Cache and click

OR

  1. Via your WordPress admin panel
    1. Login to your WordPress site
    2. Navigate down to LiteSpeed Cache
    3. Select TOOLBOX
    4. Click PURGE ALL

Once done, check your website is loading correctly. You may need to clear your browser cache also (CTRL R or CTRL F5) or even your browser history for the last hour or so.

If you use a different Cache plugin, then locate it and clear the cache there as well.
