Last year we attempted to upgrade our OS (operating software) on our existing server, which was unsuccessful, therefore we have decided to upgrade to a brand new server with even greater enhancements and capacity.
This will be rebuilt and configured in the background along side our live server with website migration and testing done prior to switching to the new server, thus minimising any downtime as we experienced last year. This changeover will take place on Friday 7th March after 6pm.
We estimate there may be some minimal disruption after hours while the IP address and DNS settings are updated which we anticipate to take approx. an one to 2 hours.
These upgrades will ensure our server stays on the cutting edge of technology plus we will be enhancing our backup and performance capabilities, so stay tuned for some great news on completion...
While we will do a thorough check on all sites once live, we do encourage you to check your site is functioning as usual on Saturday 8th March and should you experience any issues, please submit a support ticket here or call our office on 1300 158 708 and let it ring through and our support will pick it up.
